Pediatric Chiropractic Care

From Dr. Brittany’s specialized training to our kid-sized adjusting table, we are committed to providing safe, effective, and comfortable pediatric care.

What to Expect

When you bring your child to Worcester Family Chiropractic, you can expect a warm, friendly environment that will put everyone at ease. Our waiting area offers toys to play with and a special area for nursing mothers.

Infant adjustments can be done while your child is sitting or lying on you or on pillows. For slightly older children we have a special kids’ adjusting table shaped like an owl that is just their size! We use gentle techniques such a light tapping or sustained contacts with a low amount (6–8 oz) of pressure—just enough to dimple a tomato. There are no quick movements and you won’t hear any cracking or popping.

We know that taking your infant or child to see a chiropractor might be a new experience and that new experiences can provoke anxiety. We welcome your questions and are happy to speak with you over the phone to ease any concerns you have prior to your first visit.

Did you realize that even the littlest among us can benefit from chiropractic care? As a trained pediatric chiropractor, Dr. Brittany sees patients as young as just a few days old all the way through adolescence.

When seeking care for your child, it is important to select a children’s chiropractor who has received specialized training in techniques that are gentle and effective for little bodies. Dr. Brittany is a proud member of the International Chiropractic Pediatrics Association (ICPA) and is completing her certification from the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics (CACCP).

"We were referred to Dr. Brittany through our lactation consultant and doula. When our son was born he had a very tight jaw, making nursing excruciatingly painful and leaving me tied to the pump. After about 6 visits, with Dr. Brittany's expertise, our son's jaw became looser which allowed him to latch easier. Her services and caring demeanor helped me gain confidence as a new mom with nursing my son. Now we have the freedom to go about our day out and about and not have to lug the pump around. We highly recommend her!!"

Dr. Brittany's Backpack Safety Tips

"I really enjoyed having Dr. Brittany work with my family as well as myself. I started seeing her when my daughter was just 3 weeks old to help with her spitting up, excessive crying, gas, and colic. She did an amazing job helping my daughter. She also helped me with fixing the way she crawls. I would recommend Dr. Brittany to anyone and everyone—especially anyone with children, and especially those with a baby that suffers from colic."
